Entrepreneurial Skills for the Workforce
We’ve noticed — in our years working with entrepreneurs around the globe — that many are driven and have a sense of urgency about getting things done.
Another is their resourcefulness.
Being driven gets them waking up and setting goals whether mental or on paper, to make things happen. it has also become clear that those who write down their goals achieve them at a higher rate than those who don’t.
If you truly want to learn from the entrepreneurial skill of being driven, write down your goals on a daily or weekly basis.
We’ve also learned that many of these driven entrepreneurs set only 1–3 goals per day, knowing they will be interrupted throughout the day by other things.
A sense of urgency allows entrepreneurs to focus on making the driven attitude happen. Feeling like today and right now is the best time to do it allows you to set those goals and go after them.
Many entrepreneurs with a sense of urgency skill accomplish much more in their day-to-day activities. Having a sense of urgency also gives the opportunity for your customers to feel important as well as appreciated.
