Goal Setting
Setting goals is not relegated to specific times of the year. It can — and should — be done daily, weekly, monthly, annually — even in increments of 2, 5, or 10 years. You set the frequency, and the tone.
What’s most important is that you reexamine those goals any time based on the circumstances and situation in which you find yourself.
Things do change, of course — the environment, your personal journey, things under your control, sometimes things controlled by others. What is important to remember is that you can accomplish certain activities or goals on a daily or weekly basis.
Sometimes it’s important to know that you may have to break those goals into smaller goals in order to achieve them.

The reason it is important to set goals — write them down then cross them off when you’ve accomplished them — is because feeling that you have accomplished something in that day will inspire you to accomplish the next thing on the list.
If you have a big goal — let’s say you want to close three sales today. Depending on your industry, relationships, and to your capacity, that could be realistic or not. But let’s assume that its’s something you’ve done every day for the last three years.
