The final section of this blog on the Canvas is Moving Forward.

Think about operations management, time management, internal and external communications, and above all else, safety and security.

What we have observed of Resilient Entrepreneurs Moving Forward is that many of them have put thought toward the management of the operation. Some questions might be:

  • Now that my team is all over the place what can I do to keep them engaged?
  • If I’m tied to my house what can I do to stay connected to my customers?
  • What tools do I have?
  • Can I post pictures of the modifications I am making to my business in order to stay safe and secure?
  • How much cash do I have? What is my burn rate — how much do I burn every month just to stay open or stay afloat? If I’m not open, how much do I need to spend to keep the business running? If I’m not making money can I keep the business running?

Internal and External Communications: Consider your workspace itself — do you have to move desks or workstations around? What about your waiting area or your front door? The bathrooms? The website?

You might want to make sure that you are communicating! In our program, we share how others are using technology and communications to stay connected with their customers, what they are doing to keep them engaged.

BEFORE YOU GO

We see our blogs as opportunities for dialogue. Please share your thoughts as comments.

  1. What are you doing to Move Forward with operations/time management and communications?
  2. Are you planing to keep things open as we move forward?
  3. What other tools are you using to keep going?
