Moving from Startup to Growth Mode

Moving from start-up to growth mode is not an easy task — it takes a mind shift for the entrepreneur, and all the people around the entrepreneur — the team, the customers, the communities. It takes a shift for everyone to accept the growth.

While people love to see you succeed, sometimes they don’t want you to change. Sometimes they — or some of them — want to see you in the same framework that’s they’ve always seen you, no matter what!

If you are a startup with one location and you choose to add new locations or become a franchise or become franchisor, adding customers as well as communities, your team look at you differently. It takes a process to shift that mindset.

Sometimes it’s easier to gain momentum based on your foundation organization, in a different spot, a new place.

The reason for that is psychological.

I’ve learned from others and stated in previous blog posts that you can be an expert in the next town, but not in your own!
